General dentistry
Our dental office provides primary care to patients from ages 2 to 90 plus, and we provide preventative dental care intending to preserve your natural teeth as long as possible. If major dental work is needed, our office is equipped to provide you with several treatment options.
Periodontal procedures
Gum disease is a common oral health problem that can lead to gum recession or even tooth loss. The first step to prevent periodontal disease is to brush and floss your teeth daily. The second step is to call our dental practice to schedule a consultation.
Crowns and bridges
Both crowns and most bridges are fixed prosthetic devices that can restore the ability to properly chew, speak, and maintain the shape of your face. If your dental treatment indicates a bridge or crowns, our staff will provide you with a range of option to choose.
Cosmetic dentistry
Dr. Michelle C. Chu and staff will tailor a dental treatment to obtain the smile you deserve. One popular procedure our patients ask for is to change their amalgam (silver) fillings to composite (tooth color) fillings or to provide in-office or take-home teeth whitening.
Root canals
Although many fear root canals; root canal therapy is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth instead of removing it. The longer you postpone treatment the more you risk the chance to save your tooth. Most root canals can be done in two or three appointments.
Dental Implants
If you are considering dental implants, you should consider that dental implants are very durable and with proper care, they will last many years. Dr. Chu can evaluate and diagnose how a dental implant can improve your oral health.
